M aster Ken Brooks is a 7th degree black belt, a Taekwon-Do master instructor and a martial arts mentor for the last 32 years. Master Brooks also holds a 7th degree black belt in the Korean art of Hapkido and has studied and taught Hapkido for 30 years. Master Brooks received his 7th degree in Taekwon-Do from Grandmaster S.J. Kim on February 15, 2001 and currently serves as a Vice-President for Taekwon-Do International.

Through additional study, research and training Master Brooks is also a Certified Law Enforcement Tactical Trainer. He has developed programs implemented by agencies nationally and serves as a trainer and consultant of various local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

Master Brooks has been an outstanding practitioner, teacher and role model in martial arts and beyond. He is a two-time National Demonstration team member, a three-time world record holder, a former national champion and a cancer survivor. He has positively influenced the lives of thousands of students through the martial arts and has personally produced more than 700 black belts. Because of his experiences and indomitable spirit, Master Brooks has been in demand for motivational presentations at many area and regional elementary, middle and high schools. He is also a regular speaker and presenter at many colleges and universities.
